Riccardo Carlo Moroni

Riccardo Carlo Moroni earned a BSc in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2020. He subsequently pursued a double MSc degree program in Biomedical Engineering, Materials Engineering, and Nanotechnology at Politecnico di Milano. During his M.Sc. studies, Riccardo focused on the development of 3D bone scaffolds. His thesis research encompassed 3D printing, mechanical testing, and data analysis, culminating in his graduation in 2024. Currently, he is a PhD student at IMP-PAN in Gdańsk under the MetacMed project. His research focuses on the development of additively manufactured metamaterials integrated with fibre Bragg grating (FBG) sensors for monitoring and rehabilitating human joint functions.
