Sourava holds a BSc in Computer Science from Annamalai University, India, and an MSc in Computer Science from Université Paris Descartes, France. His professional experience spans foundational and applied machine learning research, addressing challenges in diverse domains such as multi-objective optimization in economics, recommender systems, advertisement prediction systems, empirical machine learning studies, and surrogate-based Bayesian modelling. Currently, Sourava is engaged at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Gdańsk, where he is developing advanced AI methodologies for designing phononic metamaterials. As part of the European Commission’s MetacMed project, his work aims to push the boundaries of innovation and improve accessibility to cutting-edge medical technologies.
